Viti Diary's Mystery Box is an integral part of the game that provides an exciting element of surprise to players. Each Mystery Box, when opened, reveals a random game NFT (Non-Fungible Token) that can be used in the gameplay.
These NFTs are crucial components in the game as they enable players to participate in different aspects of Viti Diary, especially the winemaking process. The NFTs found within the Mystery Boxes could include a variety of tools, terroirs, grape varieties or characters, each of which has a unique impact on the wine you craft in the game.
The element of randomness in the Mystery Box adds a layer of unpredictability and excitement, encouraging players to continue engaging with the game and opening more boxes to collect different NFTs. Each of the NFTs in Viti Diary comes in five different tiers,

Superior
Noble
Prestige
Legendary
The names of these tiers are derived from professional wine-tasting terminology used to determine the quality of wines.
Character NFT
Viti Diary features historical wine industry figures such as Philip II the Bold and Horace as Character NFTs, which offer unique contributions to winemaking. Unlike other Tool NFTs, Character NFTs will not be burned after the winemaking process and can be used again after the cool-down period. Character NFTs also offer extra points to the final score of the wine NFT.
In Viti Diary, the Variety NFT represents the main component of winemaking: the grape variety. Each Variety NFT is unique and shows different characteristics based on factors such as color, flavor, shape, size, and ripening season. These NFTs can be combined with other tool NFTs to create virtual wine, with a maximum of two varieties allowed to be used at the same time during the winemaking process.
Terroir NFT represents the environmental factors that affect the grape's characteristics, such as soil, climate, topography, and farming practices. When combined with other NFTs during winemaking, they might change the character of the resulting wine.
Tool NFTs represent the various equipment used in winemaking, such as barrels and harvest machines. Using different Tool NFTs will impact the results of winemaking, adding an additional layer of strategy to the game.
A Wine NFT is the final result of the winemaking process in Viti Diary, created by combining the above 4 different NFTs. Depending on how closely you follow the real-world winemaking recipe, the final score will vary. Additionally, the tier of the NFT used will have a significant influence on the final score. Users with higher scores for winemaking will receive weekly rewards in the future.
